We are now looking for an Assembly Test and Verification Engineer for one of our clients.

Your role
As an Assembly Test and Verification Engineer (lab engineer), you will be responsible for assembling and testing our prototypes and products. This is more than a hands-on role, as you are involved from the design phase to the release of products to our global customers. You work in close cooperation with design, quality, production, and other functions within the organization. This is an exciting role for someone who has a passion for mechatronic systems and sound knowledge and experience of integration and testing. Additionally you support our operation with our additive manufacturing rapid prototyping lab (20%).

Your main tasks:

- Assemble prototypes and integrate modules together (mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, electrical, and software)
- Perform testing (safety, functional, performance, endurance at both component and system level) both in-house and at customer sites
- Perform lab equipment improvement and maintenance
- Contribute to test and verification processes and documentation
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to other engineers in your areas of expertise
- Run Fiber and powder rapid prototyping printer as per process

You report to Team Manager for Mechanical Systems within R&D.

To succeed, you will need:

- A master’s degree in engineering or other relevant academic education
- Minimum 5 years of experience within Assembly Test and Verification
- Capacity to thrive in early-stage development and navigate a large and complex organization
- Broad technical knowledge in the different aspects of mechatronic systems
- Experience in assembling and testing equipment where several disciplines are integrated together (mechanical, electrical, software)
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for physical hardware
- A team player who wants to learn new techniques and working methods that benefit our customers and organization
- Excellent communication skills in the English language (both spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage but will not be a requirement for this role
