We are now looking for a consultant for a Lead Engineering role for completing engineering-based power grid projects for a major customer in the energy sector.

Assignment
• Develops, communicates, and executes operational plans for engineering based projects.
• Prepares designs, project controls, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Manages activities related to production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, or equipment.
• Monitors project progress and performance, addressing issues proactively to reduce delays.
• Identifies, secures, and organizes the resources needed to complete the project.
• May create engineering standards, detailed work specifications, project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supports decisions on selecting materials, equipment, project team members, and external contractors.
• Applies advanced expertise gained through higher-level education and significant work experience.
• Manages projects or processes with a high degree of independence and minimal supervision.
• Provides coaching, guidance, and review of work performed by junior professionals.
• Tackles challenging and occasionally complex problems requiring specialized judgment.

Candidate profile
• Well documented (10+ years) experience in relevant Engineering field
• On a national level unique competence relevant to TCO qualifications and requirements for the assignment.
• Other factors which can qualify is a post-graduate degree (Doctor degree) in a relevant area or other documented credentials.
• Tasks and qualifications required extended beyond Senior and Principal Engineer.

Swedish is mandatory
Remote possible but needs to be at least in the office 3 day a week and needs to travel to sites of both customer in Sweden and suppliers abroad.
