We are now looking for a CAE Engineer – Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics for one of our clients in Göteborg-

Assignment Details
Support the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team in studying current and future platform concepts.

Work closely with our Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team and attribute teams to align suspension system performance.

Build and analyze kinematic models for package studies.

Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts.

·       Lap simulations.

·       ADAMS simulations.

·       Build ADAMS RT models.

·       Improve queuing in driving simulator.

·       Improve brake/steering feel in driving simulator.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

·       Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

·       Minimum 5-year experience from Chassis System Development.

·       A strong understanding of technical development of chassis systems and concepts.

·       To be able to balance attribute requirements (mainly NVH, Vehicle Dynamics, Durability, Corrosion and Brakes).

·       Experience of multiple suspension systems layouts.

·       Vehicle Dynamics understanding. Personal attributes

·       Positive and agile attitude and interested in finding solutions together with other people/teams.

·       Willing to help others and to ask for help when needed.

·       Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and other cultures. IT/SW requirements MS Office, Adams, Matlab Simulink, ADAMS RT, Lap simulations, VI grade, s/w set up for simulator DIM 250, Autohawk 64.
